The Chef’s Table

Chef Jan Van Haute is a Belgian-born culinary professional celebrated for his European training, creative approach to cuisine, and exceptional hospitality. Previously Executive Chef at Goodstone Inn & Restaurant in Middleburg, Virginia, he oversaw both its award-winning fine dining restaurant and casual bistro.

His distinguished career includes serving as personal chef to Queen Fabiola of Belgium, managing food and hospitality operations at the Belgian Embassy in Washington, D.C., and training at Belgium’s renowned three-Michelin-starred Hof van Cleve. In 2025, he was inducted into Les Disciples Escoffier International in recognition of his commitment to culinary excellence.

At Provenance Estate, Chef Jan brings this wealth of experience and passion to create an intimate, thoughtfully curated private dining experience for guests to enjoy and remember.
